I started sewing when I was about 5 years old.  I haven't stopped since!  Most of what I know has been self taught or bits and pieces picked up here and there from different people.   I took a class my sophmore year of high school called "Style, Fashion, and Design".  It was VERY informative and taught my things that I still use today.  I was accepted to the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City but was unfortunately unable to attend.  I've since then been sewing different projects on the side.  I have made womens suit jackets, a wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, shirts, dresses, and LOTS of bags!

I've also made plenty of home decor pieces.  Ranging from pillows, curtains, valances, couch and chair cushions, and lap blankets.
